Autoliv Launches New Night Vision Auto Technology

A new technology that detects the presence of animals on the road with the help of infrared technology has been unveiled.

During this year’s 2012 L.A. Auto Show, Autoliv, a Swedish company, has launched its new Night Vision specialized in detecting the presence of animals on the road and alerting the motorist of the imminent risk. This technology was developed in order to keep the number of nighttime collisions with animals on the road due to lack of visibility.

According to some experts, this technology could help drivers to be safer while traveling during the night, especially in rural areas.
