Multiple specialists have reported recently that BMW has launched its new X1 model and the new vehicle has been reviewed.

The reports show that the new compact SUV is less costly than the X3 and its overall size is smaller than its predecessor. According to a recent review, the vehicle offers drivers an all-wheel drive and a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine. Some of these vehicles will be available with a turbocharged version of the engine.

The new model will be available with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.

BMW hopes to offer a vehicle that will be able to compete with the 2010 Audi Q5, the Acura RDX and the Volkswagen Tiguan.
