Multiple reports show that University Hospital in San Antonio along with Toyota is helping minorities to learn more about car safety.

The hospital decided to act following the discovery of the results of a study performed by the University of Michigan, which found that African American and Hispanic children are unrestrained ten times more often than Caucasian children.

The University researchers who performed this study also found that the crash and injury rates rise as children age and this could cause a lot of children to become injured or killed in an accident that could otherwise be prevented.
