Every year, children are endagered by being placed in improper or incorrectly installed child safety seats.

According to the news, in order to prevent this issue, the Safe Kids organization provides free safety checks and free seats to families in need. It is important to insure that children have an age and weight appropriate seat, that they sit in the back seat, and that they sit in rear-facing seats until they are too large to fit in such seats.
