IIHS Chooses The New Ford Fusion As Top Safety Pick

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has issued a report regarding a recent review and test of the new 2013 Ford Fusion.

According to the reports, this vehicle has earned a Top Safety Pick award, which means that the vehicle received a rating of “Good” in offset frontal impact, dynamic head restraint, side impact and roof strength. The official reports issued by the agency indicated that Ford’s new Fusion model features a strong personal safety system that offers occupants new safety belt technologies and a better designed frontal impact airbags.

The automaker Ford has been working on making some of the safest cars available in the U.S., the agency has stated.
