New Technology Could Be The Solution To Range-Anxiety

Consumers are often intrigued by how much money they would save if they were suddenly capable of never having to pay for gas again, however, many consumers decide to opt out of purchasing an all-electric vehicle over the fact that they are terrified their car may run out of battery juice unexpectedly, leaving them stranded.

To address this fear and help ease the consumer’s range-anxiety, some automakers have been developing engine-driven generators that are designed to augment the vehicle’s electrical energy while the car is on the roll.

Although this is not the final solution, it’s a competent temporary remedy, which is a technology that may pave the way for more definitive answer to the range-anxiety problem.
