NTSB Wants All Vehicles To Be Equipped With Advanced Safety Technologies

Several media outlets have indicated that the National Transportation Safety Board has indicated that certain safety technologies should be required in all newer vehicles.

Safety advocates urge lawmakers to require automakers to add collision prevention technologies to all vehicles in order to make vehicles safer and decrease the number of auto accidents caused by driver error. According to the reports, the auto industry believes this could create an issue since the adding of multiple safety technologies like adaptive cruise control and braking and electronic stability control could make vehicles costly, driving consumers to avoid purchasing newer cars.
