Road Safety Could Be Promoted By New, Local Policies

Point Grey Road is a very popular route to drivers and cyclists due to its beautiful and sometimes described as breathtaking view of the houses and ocean, however, cyclists and others who dislike the traffic count are looking to close the road for outsiders and make it a road only for cycling and local car usage.

According to the news, this idea was brought up after some residents voiced their concerns related to bicycle versus car safety in the region. Reports show that city officials estimate that around 13,000 cars take the route daily, and residents show a certain dislike for the high number.
