A recent research has indicated that teens continue to drive dangerously, however, they tend to be even more inattentive when there are other passengers present in the vehicle.

A recent study carried out by AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety indicated that teen drivers were more involved in accidents when there were other passengers present. Teen drivers become more aggressive and more inattentive when there are more occupants in the car.

The study also points out that late-night driving and intoxicated driving increase when teen drivers have company.
