According to a recent article, some of most popular cars in America haven’t performed as some expected in recent crash tests performed by the auto safety group known as the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

The reports indicate that out of 18 midsize family vehicles, 13 obtained good safety ratings in a new test that recreates a frontal collision to verify how safe the vehicle would keep passengers if the car were to crash into a pole or a tree.

The reports indicate that Toyota’s Camry and Prius v hybrid wagon did not obtain good safety ratings in the tests performed by the auto safety group.
In the past, only two models out of eleven luxury models got good safety ratings.
