Several news agencies have reported that the new Toyota RAV4 hasn’t performed well in one of the crash tests it was subject by the Euro NCAP.

According to the news, this model showed the vehicle’s driver’s airbag failed to contain the dummy’s head and keep it from coming in contact with the wheel. Since the airbag failed to inflate enough, this vehicle’s safety ratings suffered and lost critical points due to this issue.

In spite of the results of the frontal impact test, the new RAV4 obtained five stars in the new NCAP safety assessment. If you’re interested in this model and you would like to learn more about this vehicle, click here for the full article.
