Multiple reports indicated that, when it comes to reliability and safety, consumers prefer Toyota vehicles over other brands.

According to a recent article, Consumer Reports has published the agency’s annual reliability rankings that show that, when it comes to trustworthy brands, Toyota is the go-to brand of American consumers. Experts believe that this is true because of how Scion, Toyota and Lexus, all branches of Toyota Motor Corp., have become household names that offer vehicles that are dependable, stylish and, above all, fuel efficient.

Specialists believe that safety, comfort and economy are three of the most popular factors all consumers keep in mind while choosing a vehicle. The rankings show that this year, about 800,000 consumers offered their input on 1.2 million different vehicles from the 2010 through 2012 model years. Lexus, Toyota and Scion ended up taking the top three sports of the ranking.
