A series of official reports indicated that Britax has issued a recall statement concerning several models of car safety seats and restraining systems that could pose a choking hazard to children.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has revealed that this recall was issued after the company noticed that the models of car safety seats Pavilion 70 G3, Advocate 70 G3 and Boulevard 70 G3 come with soft chest pads. The firm reports that if a child bites or chews the pad into pieces, the small components could end up posing a choking risk.

To prevent injuries, the company decided to issue this recall and provide tougher chest pads to consumers with these seats in their possession.
