Honda’s previous recall situation has grown more complicated, according to the news.

Now, there are 1,715,000 vehicles being recalled over fire hazards, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported. Their latest recall of 268,655 Honda CR-Vs, which is due to a defective driver-side power window switch that could pose a serious fire hazard, is an addition to their recall associated with 626,000 units of Accords and Acura TL models.

The latter were recalled because of defective hydraulic hoses that could also cause a fire. Honda currently does not have enough parts to repair the afflicted vehicles.
