In its latest iOS6 upgrade, found in the iPhone 5, Apple has decided to replace Google maps and equip the phones with its in-house map application, which has frustrated many faithful Google map users.

The new app has a turn by turn navigation but has presented many initial flaws that may make it difficult for drivers to get around. Alternatives for drivers include using a dedicated GPS, or GPS apps present in the phone. Several cities have their own mass transit apps, which can also be downloaded.

Finally, Google Maps is still available for drivers if they choose to use it with the help of a browser.

Garmin has just launched new navigation systems in the newer models of Chrysler and Dodge vehicles and according to the company, Doge Dart, Chrysler 300, Journey and Charger will be equipped with 3D landmark rendering that will give the driver a fully expanded reality view of the terrain that is being covered by the him or her.
