Reports have indicated that Toyota Manufacturing has issued a recall for 2.5 million of its vehicles sold in the United States.

The reason for the recall, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported, is a problem with a window switch which could pose a fire hazard. No injuries have been reported due to the alleged problem, however, several incidents could occur.

The recall impacts eleven models, including the popular 2007 through 2009 Camry and Camry Hybrid. Toyota will be sending notification letters regarding this recall announcement to owners in late October.
