Toyota’s FJ Cruiser Recalled

Toyota has recently issued a recall for all units of the 2007 through 2013 FJ Cruiser SUVs over a potential injury risk.

According to the company, these vehicles could pose an injury risk to drivers and front seat passengers due to the fact seat belts are mounted on the rear doors of the vehicle.  The company stated that over time, the doors might be closed forcefully, which could increase the risk of cracks being developed. If the retractors that keep the seat belts mounted onto the doors crack, the device may come detached, failing to protect occupants in the event of an accident.
