A new car seat safety check station will open at the Broken Arrow fire station, according to a series of news sources.

The station will be held at Lynn Lane north of Albany street and it will be open the first Thursday of every month from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Officials will be hoping parents to learn how to install their safety seats correctly. According to the news, motor vehicle crashes are the lead killer of children from ages one to fourteen.

Safety or booster seats should be used until children are four feet and nine inches tall and should be always put in use, which will help to keep a child from becoming injured as a result of a crash.
