Hyundai has recently reported that several vehicles of the 2006 through 2013 model years will have switches fully replaced after the company noticed an issue with these components.

According to the reports, the Korean manufacturer stated that the switches haven’t caused any major delays in the brake lights, however, the potential defect may affect the car’s computer systems, which could lead to bigger problems.

According to the news, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has reported that since this issue does not pose a major risk, the company could proceed with the replacement of all potentially defective parts without calling a recall.
