2012 And 2013 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Motorcycles Recalled

Motorcycles manufactured by Harley-Davidson Motor Company are being recalled due to a defective rear bracket assembly.

According to the federal agency, the motorcycles of models 2012 and 2013 VRSCDX were furnished with rear license plate mountings that were screwed poorly during assembly, which could cause the part to become detached unexpectedly.

If the bracket comes undone and it rotates, it could come in contact with the rear brake line, increasing the risk of an accident.

To stay safe, motorcyclists with the recalled vehicles are being asked to contact the manufacturer right away.
