General Motors and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that all units of the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu vehicles are being recalled over a possible handling issue that could increase the accident risk.

According to the official statement published by the federal agency, the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu vehicles are being recalled over a possible issue with the rear suspension bolts in these vehicles. The reports show that these components may not have been tightened properly. If the bolts are not tightened to the specific torque, the driver may experience an increased crash risk.

Affected vehicles will be fully repaired for free.
