Chrysler decided to issue a recall announcement along the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in order to prevent accidents.

The company stated that all units of the 2003 and 2004 Dodge Viper were recalled over a possible issue that could eventually lead to an unexpectedly airbag deployment. Reports indicate that the airbags could deploy while the vehicle is in use, increasing the risk of an accident and posing an injury risk to occupants. The affected airbag module should be fully repaired at authorized dealers for free.

The company has reported that all affected consumers are being notified of the recall.
