General Motors and IMPCO Recall Cargo Vans Over Fire Risks

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has recently reported that General Motors has issued a recall for several cargo vans that were equipped with a system to have the vehicle run on compressed natural gas over a possible fire risk.

The vehicles affected by this recall are all units of the 2011 through 2013 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana cargo vans equipped with compressed natural gas fuel systems manufactured and installed by IMPCO. Both IMPCO and General Motors have issued this recall.
