General Motors has issued a recall on roughly 6% of the more than twenty-five million vehicles built between 1995 and 2004 with the 3800 model V6 engine installed.

It is an expansion of a previous recall issued back in 2008 for a similar problem with the same type of engine. It has been discovered that engine oil may leak onto the exhaust manifold and potentially start a fire.
