Half A Million Honda CR-V Vehicles Recalled Over Fire Risks

The Japanese automaker Honda recently decided to recall half a million of vehicles over failures to meet safety standards.

There is a small chance that the driver’s side door in certain models of the Honda CR-V could catch fire due to water entering the electric motor that controls the power windows in these vehicles. Five incidents regarding these vehicles and minor fires have been reported. Consumers are being alerted that the vehicles at risk were built between 2002 and 2006.
