Honda has recently issued a recall for the company’s CR-V SUVs and according to a series of news agencies, the recall was due to a potential fire risk.

Since most of the vehicles affected by this recall haven’t been fully repaired as of now, a recall announcement has been reissued. The risk involves all units of the 2002 through 2006 models of CR-V. The problem is stemming from a faulty power window switch that, when pressed enough under certain circumstance, could potentially cause a fire.

It could cause the switch to overheat and melt even when the car is parked and the engine is completely turned off. To prevent fires and property damage, the recall was issued.
