Investigation Into The Shattering Hyundai Veloster Sunroofs Underway

The issue regarding the sunroofs on the Hyundai Veloster hatchback models, which are known to possibly shatter and cause owners to be exposed to the risk of being injured by falling sharp glass, is still under investigation.

Statistics show that about 18,000 cars may be affected by the problem that may only be an issue to 2012 Veloster models. Some consumers said that the incidents associated with the glass shattering occurred while the vehicles were in motion, however, a recall announcement was not issued and should not be issued until the investigation is through.
