Motorcycles Recalled by Triumph, NHTSA Reports

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration along Triumph Motorcycles decided to issue a recall for all units of 2012 and 2013 Speed Triple ABS motorcycles after it was noted that these vehicles could pose a serious accident risk.

According to the federal agency, these vehicles come with detent springs that could fail while the vehicle is being used. The failure could cause the transmission to shift out of its gear, increasing the risk of an accident. To prevent a crash, the federal agency has stated that all affected vehicles should be fully repaired for free. You can contact Triumph to ask more about this recall and schedule a visit to an authorized dealer promptly.
