Several news agencies have reported that all units of 2012 and 2013 Victory motorcycles are being recalled over a possible issue with the throttle cable retention nuts in these models.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the pull or push throttle cable in these vehicles were nor properly torqued during the assembly of the vehicle, which could lead the nuts to become loose, increasing the risk of an accident. If the nuts are dislodged while the vehicle is in use, the components could interfere with the throttle function and the vehicle could crash.

To prevent this from happening, the company decided to issue this recall right away.

Victory is now contacting owners of the affected vehicles and, according to the federal agency, all repairs and replacements should be performed for free.
