Multiple Models of Husaberg & KTM Motorcycles Are Being Recalled

Multiple motorcycles manufactured by KTM North America have been recalled after it was noted that the throttle cables in these vehicles could fail while the motorcycle is in use.

These vehicles are designed for competition or closed course use only. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, Husaberg and KTM motorcycles of the models 85 SX, 85 SXS, 125 SX, 150 SX, 150 XC, 200 XC-W, 250 SX, 250 XC, 250 XC-W, 300 XC and 300 XC-W could pose a serious risk to riders since the driver could lose control of the throttle due to a problem with the cables these motorcycles are equipped with.

According to the company, affected vehicle owners should visit an authorized dealer at once to have the motorcycle repaired promptly for free.
