The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that multiple 2013 vehicles manufactured by Nissan have been recalled over a possible injury hazard.

According to the news, the models affected include LEAF, Pathfinder, Altima, Sentra, and Infiniti JX35. These vehicles were equipped with certain Occupant Detection Systems that have sensors that may have been manufactured out of specification. This problem could cause the air bags to be suppressed in the event of a crash.

Since this issue could lead to an injury, the company decided to issue this recall promptly and have all affected vehicles inspected. ODS sensors that are defective will be replaced for free.
