Volvo Trucks North America has issued a recall for all units of the 2013 VHD, VNL and VNM models of trucks due to an issue with the vehicle’s steel wheels that could cause them to become separated unexpectedly.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that all 2,905 units of these trucks were equipped with inadequately welded steel disc and rims, causing the components to become prone to failure.

The federal agency stated that all recalled vehicles will have all issues promptly repaired for free.
