Ford has recently issued another recall for all units of the 2004 through 2007 Mercury Monterey and Freestar models over a possible issue that could result in an injury.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that Ford issued a recall for these vehicles because they have been equipped with third road seats that could come loose in the event of an accident due to a corrosion that may occur due to an issue with the component’s latch striker mounting brackets.

The company has stated that vehicles affected by this issue could increase the risk of a personal injury.
