Multiple news agencies have reported that several vehicles are being recalled after it was noted that US Specs labels do not comply with federal standard requirements.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, US Specs issued a recall for all 1986 BMW 635 CSI, 1997 BMW 750IL and 2002 Porsche Carrera vehicles equipped with side rearview mirrors that may have been equipped with labels that carry a text with an incorrect font size, which could lead to an accident since drivers may not be able to judge the proximity of outside objects.

To prevent a potential accident, the company has stated that all units of these vehicles should have these labels corrected for free.
