Subaru along the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a recall for multiple models over a potential risk associated with a possibly defective part.

According to the firm, all units of the 2010 through 2013 Outback and Legacy models, 2012 and 2013 Impreza and 2013 XV Crosstrek, have been equipped with certain engine starter accessories that could increase the risk of a potential carbon monoxide build-up, posing a risk to consumers.

The firm has stated that these vehicles will have all defective parts replaced for free to prevent any potential incidents.
