The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that Daimler Trucks North America has issued a recall for several school and non-school buses over a possible overheating issue.

The federal agency stated that the 2011 through 2013 Thomas Built school and non school buses manufactured by Daimler between March 2010 and July 2012 were equipped with diesel engines that were manufactured with certain fan pulleys that could fail overtime, causing the cooling system to become disabled.

To prevent any accidents that could be caused by the overheating of the engine, the federal agency has issued the recall along the company.
