Different models of vehicles are being recalled by Toyota, news agencies have reported.

According to the official recall statement issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Toyota recalled all 2012 and 2013 Scion IQ vehicles over a possible issue with the vehicle’s Occupant Classification System. The report shows that the vehicle was equipped with cables that may be damaged if the passenger seats slide forward or backward, which could render the system incapable of deploying the airbags in the event of an accident, posing a risk to passengers.
