Toyota Recalls Vehicles Over Potential Injury Risk

Toyota has issued a recall for multiple models over a potential risk associated with the passenger airbag modules.

The reports show that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued the recall along Toyota because these vehicles could pose an increased injury risk to passengers since the sensor responsible for detecting the presence of a passenger could fail. If this failure occurs and the vehicle is involved in a collision, the passenger may be exposed to an increased risk of injuries.

Multiple vehicles are listed under this recall announcement including the 2012 Prius V and the 2009 through 2012 Prius models.
