Your Maserati Vehicle May Have Been Recalled

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported that 7,438 vehicles are being recalled over a possible issue with the rear tire rod that could essentially lead to an accident.

The federal agency has stated that the 2005 through 2008 Quattroporte, 2008 Granturismo and Alfa Romeo 8C were assembled with certain parts that are crucial to the functioning of the rear tie rod assemblies that may have not been properly treated with anti-corrosion material.

This issue could cause the devices to fail due to a potential weakening of the tie rod assemblies. This problem could lead to a serious issue since the vehicle may be in use when the rear tie rod fails.

The company will be replacing affected tie rods for free at authorized dealers.  You can follow this link to read the full recall announcement.
